In New Orleans, we're obsessed with food. It's part of our culinary heritage, so when we taste something as fresh and flavorful as Salsa Verde, we embrace it. This Latin inspired dish combines bright, tangy lime, zesty cumin, and jalapeno along with brown rice and red beans.
Since the early 1800's New Orleans' Garden District has been a historical melting pot filled with ornate homes and lush gardens. Garden District Kitchen is a nod to this neighborhood, near where Emile Zatarain founded the company in a small storefront over a century ago.

Stove Top Directions
Cook - Mix 1 1/2 cups water and 1 tbsp. butter in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil. Add Rice Mix. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. For softer rice, simmer an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
Enjoy - Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.

Create your own signature "power bowl". Prepare rice as directed. Choose your favorite colorful toppings, such as avocado, chopped tomatoes, green onion, sliced radish and cilantro.
