Inspired by the Caribbean influence in New Orleans Cuisine, Roasted Garlic Adobo combines the bold flavor of fire-roasted bell peppers, savory onions and roasted garlic along with brown rice and black beans.
Since the early 1800's New Orleans Garden District has been a historical melting pot filled with ornate homes and lush gardens. Garden District Kitchen is a nod to this neighborhood, near where Emile Zatarain founded the company in a small storefront over a century ago.

Stove Top Directions
Cook - Mix 1 1/2 cups water and 1 tbsp. butter in 2-quart saucepan. Bring to boil. Add rice mix. Reduce heat. Cover. Simmer 10 minutes or until most of the water is absorbed. For softer rice, simmer an additional 2 to 3 minutes.
Enjoy - Remove from heat. Let stand 5 minutes.

Create your own signature "power bowl". Prepare rice as directed. Choose your favorite colorful toppings, such as red onion, corn, avocado, sprouts, baby spinach leaves and chopped tomatoes.
